Stuffed Burgers
Ingredients
1 lb. brick of Reminisce Angus Beef
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 hamburger buns
For the Stuffing (choose your favorite):
Cheese (cheddar, Swiss, blue cheese, etc.)
Caramelized onions
Sauteed mushrooms
Jalapenos
Cooked bacon
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
Instructions:
Prepare the Stuffing
If using cheese, cut it into small cubes or shred it.
If using other ingredients like caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, jalapenos, or bacon, make sure they are cooked and ready.
Divide and Shape Patties
Divide the ground beef into eight equal portions.
Shape each portion into a thin patty.
Place a small amount of your chosen stuffing in the center of four patties, leaving a border around the edges.
Top with Another Patty
Place a second patty on top of each stuffed patty.
Seal the edges by pressing them together, ensuring the stuffing is enclosed.
Season and Cook
Season the outside of each stuffed burger with salt and black pepper.
Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the stuffed burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness. Adjust the cooking time based on your preferred doneness.
Toast the Buns
In the last minute of cooking, you can toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are golden brown.
Assemble and Serve:
Place each cooked stuffed burger on a toasted bun.
Add your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato slices, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise.
