Granny's Meatloaf
Ingredients
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. Reminisce Angus Ground Beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
2 eggs, beaten
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or loaf pan with cooking spray or olive oil.
Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, Parmesan cheese, ketchup, beaten eggs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, dried oregano, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Use your hands or a spoon to mix everything together until well combined.
Shape Meatloaf
Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared baking dish or loaf pan. Use your hands to shape it into a loaf shape, pressing it down gently to compact it.
Top with Ketchup
Spread a thin layer of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf for extra flavor and moisture.
Bake Meatloaf
Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) and the top is golden brown.
Rest and Serve
Once the meatloaf is cooked through, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute and makes for easier slicing. Serve slices of meatloaf with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a green salad.
